The Bridge City project is situated on 1,8 ha within the greater KwaMashu area in KwaZulu-Natal. This is a turnkey development project consisting of 356 residential units within a secure estate. This development provides an excellent opportunity for extending Calgro’s footprint into KZN.
The development will consist of 356, four-storey units, and will include a gatehouse, parking areas, communal areas and court yards. The construction of the development is undertaken by Serengeti, a local partner with years of experience in the industry in this area.
Bulk and Link infrastructure
The stands on which the Bridge City project is situated were purchased from Tongaat-Hullett and form part of the greater Bridge City Precinct. All bulk and link infrastructure was therefore installed and upgraded by the seller, and the proposed development and densities on the Bridge City project are designed to be in line with the development controls approved by the seller.
The development is located on the off-ramp to the Curnick Ndlovu Highway, providing great accessibility to the development. Other amenities include the Bridge City shopping centre that was built on top of the PRASA train station. Apart from the train station, public transport is also enhanced through the taxi rank situated just outside the mall. The new, modern KwaMashu magistrate court is also located just down Bridge City Avenue.
